DeOA Meeting with CE Late Fall

Delaware Optometric Association meeting with one hour state CE, will be held on Wednesday, November 28th , 2012 from 6:30 PM - 9:00 PM at the Sheraton Hotel in Dover, DE

We are having two speakers this time.

Doctor John W. Butler M.D. from Retina Consultants of Delmarva, P.A. will provide us with one hour of state CE (pending approval).

OCT Update.

Mr. Randall J. Farmer, M.S, M.Ed, director, provider relations and business development of Delaware Health Information Network will provide us with a short presentation on organization update, product demonstation and benefits of membership with DHIN.   

By way of background, the DHIN launched in May 2007 to become the first live, state-wide health information exchange in the nation.  In 2012, DHIN stands as the most mature and developed state-wide HIE in the country.  DHIN currently serves:

• 100% of Delaware’s acute care hospitals
• 100% of Delaware’s long term care and skilled nursing facilities
• 97% of Delaware’s medical providers who make orders*
