Delaware State Board Of Examiners
CHANGES IN LICENSE LAW:
Senate Bill 143, enacted 8/2016, clarifies optometric and prescriptive practices and procedures that Delaware-licensed Therapeutic and Diagnostic Optometrists are permitted to perform. The major changes involve which medications you can prescribe (24 Del. C. § 2101) and a new duty to report (24 Del. C. §2123). If you have questions, contact the Board office at the phone or email below.
Several reports suggest the virus can cause conjunctivitis and possibly be transmitted by aerosol contact with the conjunctiva.
